Dr. Shashwati Sen has an experience of over 15 years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College, an iconic women's only medical school in New Delhi. Thereafter, she completed her post-graduation from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi with outstanding marks. Her special interests lie in Infertility, Endocrinology, Reproductive Surgery and High Risk Pregnancy. She has been mentored in the field of Infertility by renowned fertility experts at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore where she has worked actively as a Clinical Fellow under the guidance of Prof. Yu Su Ling (HOD, Dept. of Reproductive Medicine), Dr. Yong Tse Tein (HOD, Dept. of Obst and Gynae) and Dr. Hemashree Rajesh (HOD, Dept. of Andrology). 

Besides clinical and surgical work, she is actively involved in research and her name already finds a place in premier international journals like Fertility and Sterility (ASRM, USA), Fertility and Reproduction (ASPIRE), International Journal of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) to name a few. She was among the chosen few from across the world to present her research work in conferences like PCRS 2020 (California), ASPIRE 2021 (Philippines), FIGO 2021 (Australia), AOFOG 2022 (Bali), RCOG 2022 (London) etc.

As a Reviewer, she regularly evaluates research papers for various journals including the top-ranked Scientific Reports (Nature). She has been awarded with Excellent Reviewer title by various journal houses. 

She is on the Editorial Board of IJMA, Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University, Damietta, Egypt.

She was a Thesis guide for DNB postgraduate students during her tenure as Consultant at Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital, Prayagraj. 

She is also serving as an Exam Appraiser with National Board of Examinations (NBE, New Delhi) for conducting NEET-PG Exams.
